BABIES FOR OBAMA

At the last minute today we decided to go to the Obama speech at the Colorado State University. When we got to campus the line was about 2 miles long and went all the way to Prospect. It was really cold outside and my mom and dad were getting frustrated so we decided to leave. When we were walking back to where our car, we started talking to some volunteers, turned around, were swamped by the line and ended up walking right in.

After we got past the security one of the volunteers noticed my mom's hurt leg and asked if we wanted to go to assisted seating. When we got to the assisted seating area they told us that they just ran out of room- but that we could go to the VIP area on the bleachers. We ended up getting closer than we would have thought. We were about five feet away from where Barack Obama walked on the stage.

My mom and dad were surprised that I was being so good, I almost didn't cry the whole time- until I got hungry. Plus, a lot of people were talking to me and telling me how cute I was.

Ezra you are so lucky to have a mommy and daddy that share their beliefs with you. I pray that they continue to grow as a couple and as responsible parents but most importantly that they always love you and do what is for your best interest. Going out to see Obama, that is exciting. Believe me if they continue to share moment like this with you--you are going to be the smartest kid on the block. Why? because, you are being educated and you're learning to enjoy your surroundings. When I say "your surrounding" I mean being around other educated minded people who have the same interest.

P.S. Great job Vashti and Jin
