My Conversation

These are pictures of my great grandma, my grandpa and Alice.
I've pooped on almost all of them :)

12 Weeks old

These pictures are pretty special. The outfits I'm wearing are from my Grandma Oralia. My weight is 15 lbs 1 oz. I've gotten much taller, I almost touch the floor when I'm in my Jumperoo.

We went out one day to the biggest book store I've ever seen. Mom was pretty excited to go to it for some reason, something about it being one of the largest independent bookstores in the nation. This pillar has the latin saying "LEGE LIBRUM" on it which means read the book. My mom found a book for me there too. It was a book about Big Foot, she starting reading it... and had to stop when she realized that it wasn't a kids book. I thought it was a kids book too.
While everyone was putting together the floral arrangement we were watching. When they were done they would show us the arrangements and I would smile at the ones I liked the most.
At the very end of out trip when everything was done we took a little ride out to the coast. This was on a patio at a restaurant that we went to. It was really foggy on the beach here. We could hardly see the water from where we were.

My Trip

This is me on my very first plane ride.

Everybody told me that I needed to suck on my pacifier or that my mom should feed me on the way up or down but I wasn't interested in that at all. I was busy talking to the lady that sat next to me. She was a nurse that lived in Portland, Oregon (where we flew into). When we were in the air and about to land she showed me Mount Hood from above the clouds it was pretty amazing.

Below are my Great Aunt Nena's grandkids Victoria and Matthew. They're both really nice and held me a lot. Victoria came over to our hotel and was talking to my Aunt Castine and my mom about her life and her boyfriend. They were having girl talk.

They think that I wasn't listening, but I really was.

During my trip I had a lot of time with the ladies.

But the time that I did have with the guys was fun too. This was me with my Great Uncle Esteban's son Joshua. He was scared to hold me at first but then couldn't resist. I think he knew that I was about to poop.

The bottom picture was my favorite. Her name is McKenzie (sp?) she is Victoria and Matthew's youngest sister. She was always asking my mom to hold me. It almost looks like I'm half her size in the picture.

Sorry I've been out for so long. The last couple of weeks me and my mom were in Washington and Oregon. It was a sad time but I got to see and spend a lot of time with my extended family.

You see, my Great Grandmother Oralia passed away. See was sick and in the hospital for a while. When we found out we headed out as soon as we could, in hope that I could meet her before anything happen.

But it was too late.

My mom told me that she was a pretty special woman. That she overcame many obstacles in her life. When we were in Washington we heard a ton of stories about how amazing she was.

I know that I can be a handful to my mom at time but my Great Grandma Oralia had 8 kids! My mom says that God doesn't give anybody anything that they can't handle and that God knew that my Great Grandma could handle all her kids. All of my great aunts and uncles are pretty awesome.

I'll show you.

Bath time! I have always like bath time.Mom says that when I was two weeks old I slept right through it. Since my mom has been working on my cradle cap for quite some time, it's almost all gone. She took my doctors advice and put the oil on before bath instead of after (it can make it worse if you leave it on).

I had to leave my favorite part for last. My dad was teaching me how to drive the tractor here!

Today was Fort Collins Healthy Family's first birthday. They had their birthday at Lee Marinez Park on The Farm. I saw a ton of animals. My favorite animals were the ones that came up to me and were as curious about me as I was about them. Two of them my mom got a picture of. The rooster and the goat.

I was about to fall asleep when we got to the goat but he made a really loud sound and startled me. I think he wanted me to pet him but my parents were a little hesitant.

Great fun.

My mom insisted that I show everyone my "quiet alert" state. I'm pretty receptive here. Watch for when my mom zooms in- that's when she tried to tickle my feet and make me laugh.

Check out more videos of me at

including one of me right after I was born.

This is just me and Mom about to go on our walk. She's trying to get me used to my new suglasses before I get older and learn how to reach up and grab them off my face, although I did reach up and swat them off a couple of times.
